Meyerhold,Theatre and the Russian Avant-garde
The Russian theatre director, Meyerhold devised an acting technique called biomechanics. His main task was to combine the two dimensionality of the set with the three dimensionality of the actors body. Using actors this film attempts to recreate his ideas in the context of Russian Theatre of the 1920s.
