Wendy Ma

Wendy Ma was born in China in 1975, and came to US at age 22 to pursue higher education. Since 2003, she has been a freelance producer for New Tang Dynasty Television, an independent Chinese language TV network based in NYC, and contributed to more than a dozen documentary programs. In 2006, “Hi-tech companies, the Chinese government and the Internet”, a documentary she co-produced with Simone Gao, won Best Investigative/In-Depth Report at National Ethnic Media Awards, presented by New America Media. Her filmmaking interests include Chinese modern society and traditional culture, healthcare, and arts.
