This film gives a sweeping panorama of Quilts & Quilting in Amish America. Nowhere in America are Quilts & quilting more alive than in Amish & Mennonite Communities across America. This program covers Amish America from Lancaster, Pa. to Yoder Kansas. Noted Author Rachel Pellman is featured in the Museum that she helped create in Intercourse, Pa. Also featured is Marilyn Woodin, in her Quilt & Textile Museum in Kalona, Iowa. In between many Amish people , communities and Quilt shops are seen. Beachy Amish women are shown quilting in Berlin, Ohio and other ladies display quilts at auction in Wisconsin.
